Frustration with various moral issues.
Man sometimes this world makes me sick. We disagree too much, no wonder why people today think there is no truth.. And yet we disagree. But how do we disagree if there is no truth? Rick Scott: don't vote for him and his racist views. Abortion is always murder, no matter if pro-life people may be wrong sometimes. Homosexual marriage is not discrimination, it simply means you cannot marry each other just like two siblings cannot marry each other (it's simply immoral!). It's unethical to use half-naked women for ads. It's inappropriate to use sex-like poses and words in ads and songs and TV shows and movies. It's inappropriate and often sinful to use profane language. The list goes on.

Lacrimae Mariae updates
Well. It's been long since I touch on this subject.
The screening of the "Sneak-peak" didn't go too well (too much material, too little time to compile it all, plus the controversy).
Alright. So instead of getting on those issues right now, I wanna say a few things about L.M.
First, I think I'll drop the whole "G.I. Transform:" thingy,
and just call the film "Lacrimae Mariae: The Tears of Mary" (I guess without the translation too).
Also, I am planning on having two versions of the film:
1. Lacrimae Mariae (Short Version)
2. Lacrimae Mariaw 3-D (The entire version, however long it is)
The first one will be with the toys and some comic scenes, and I'll try to minimize the 3-D scenes. This one will only include the most important dialogue to make the story flow, but will not have as many action scenes or dialogue. The reason is that doing stop-motion is extremely hard, and doing a movie comic-style can take up time, plus it can be boring if not done right (we saw this a
t the screening). Also, virtually all of the more controversial statements are taken off, though I'll leave the reference to Fr. Fessio's firing at the final speech. Everything else will be simply like an Action witty-comedy movie with a Catholic theme and message.
The second one will take much longer to make since I have decided to do it all in 3-D. I have gather some transformers models from around the web (but they do not transform) that I can use, plus I'll make the University 3-D model more detailed so we can have out movie take place there.
This movie will include almost all of the dialogue, including a revised line about the non-Catholic students (the revision should make it clear that the movie was not portraying non-Catholic students as evil, because that's not what was in
tended to begin with).
I should also say that while Fr. Henry did not read the whole script, he made some comments which I took into consideration, including changing the name of Operation Unholy Trinity and leaving out the part of Cobra inside the Oratory at Mass. I will possibly leave out some other lines and jokes, though we shall see.
Anyways.
I still need voice actors for Eagle Eye and for Duke, so if you know anyone who would be interested in filling up these parts, please let me know.
I will also be posting (not on the blog) a revised version for Lacrimae Mariae Short Version soon, since this is the one that I plan on going forward with.
Ok. Check back for new stuff.

Lacrimae Mariae 3-D:

Catholic 3-D Shorts
Ok.
Here I'll be posting ideas for cool Catholic 3-D animated shorts, mostly based off of books. Feel free to post your own suggestion or if you write your own Catholic short then maybe we could make it into 3-D eventually!
----
- "Father Brown" series
- "The Shadow of His Wings"
- C.S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce"
- Some movie about the Fall of the Angels
- The Rosary, especially scenes for the Joyful Mysteries
- Maybe some short on Saint George versus the Dragon
Fr. Brown 3-D
G.K. Chesterton's "Father Brown" series in 3-D.
Well, I've had for a while the idea of making the Fr. Brown stories come alive in 3-D shorts, and I was thinking the first one we could do is The Hammer of God.
This project would just go really slow since I am taking online courses, so I wouldn't be able to put my full attention to it. So I would just need to gather a few people interested in this project to help me to think of ideas in which we could make the short story (The Hammer of God) become a 10-20 minute animated short.
I would need:
Script-writer
Voice Actors
Someone to sketch the drawings of Fr. Brown and other characters (though I might be able to download free 3-D characters, else I'd have to create them from scratch)
Ideas of how to shorten the story to be 10-20 minutes
So if you're interested or know someone who might be interested, please let me know by responding to this blog or writing to JXP1Animations@gmail.com
And if you're at Ave, perhaps if we start brainstorming this summer we could make it a movie for the Film Festival (that means that you cannot be on Broadhead's film, haha).
Ok. God bless, pax Christi,
J1Militans
