Frustration with various moral issues.

Man sometimes this world makes me sick. We disagree too much, no wonder why people today think there is no truth.. And yet we disagree. But how do we disagree if there is no truth? Rick Scott: don't vote for him and his racist views. Abortion is always murder, no matter if pro-life people may be wrong sometimes. Homosexual marriage is not discrimination, it simply means you cannot marry each other just like two siblings cannot marry each other (it's simply immoral!). It's unethical to use half-naked women for ads. It's inappropriate to use sex-like poses and words in ads and songs and TV shows and movies. It's inappropriate and often sinful to use profane language. The list goes on.

    Just follow Natural Law!
But even then, I disagree with some of my close friends in some views. Blah.

  2. Saw this post, and just had to comment.

Would you mind explaining what you mean by ''truth''? Do you mean some kind of aboslute truth or what?

Abortion is murder? Well sure, tho it depends on when you think life begins. :P

I think you had a typo when you talked about homosexual marriage ^^
However to ban homosexual marriage is imo discrimination. To give a certain right to one group of people, but not the other, just because of their sexuality, is discrimination. Or to be more exact, sexual discrimination.
Would you mind explaining to me, why homosexuality is immoral? :P

I would not really call it unethical to use half-naked women for ads, there is a reason for why its done, sex sells. And if people want to watch that, i would not ban it from them. It would be unethical if they used the material of the women, without their approval

Same thing goes for the poses and words, if people want to watch that, let them. Nobody is forcing you to.

    About the profane language.
I dont really see it as a problem, sure in some situations it can be inappropriate to use some words, but people should be free to express themselves with whatever language / words they see fit.

  3. Yoho, bro!

I saw this post long ago but haven't had a change to respond, nor to the one on atheism/religion and crimes!

I made a separate section for the homosexual discussion, though, and we *might* have another person joining us..
